Key Information
All University of Alabama students who will be enrolled in BSC 114 or 118 for the fall semester are eligible for B3 participation.
The Bama Biology Bootcamp is now offered as a 1 credit hour course. Participants will be able to register for BSC 103 Bama Biology Bootcamp during their Bama Bound registration time. Students can apply to participate by completing the Bama Biology Bootcamp application. Once students have applied for the bootcamp program, they will be sent additional information about the program and the formal course registration process.
Application
The application process for the 2023 Bama Biology Bootcamp will open on March 15th, 2023. Please let us know of your intent to participate in the program by completing the Bama Biology Bootcamp application (available soon).
The total cost of Bama Biology Bootcamp is $350 (not including your textbook or clicker), which will be included as a course fee in your fall tuition bill. Additional details will be included in the response e-mail sent shortly after submitting the Bama Biology Bootcamp application. A number of need-based scholarships will be available to help reduce the cost of the program. Students who indicate this need in their application will hear by mid-July if we will be able to offer them a scholarship. Learn more about assistance on the Financial Aid page.

Housing
Bootcamp participants will be eligible for early dorm move-in. No additional fees are required for the early dorm move-in. Find more details on the Housing page.
